One of the main innovations of the Galaxy A series is the water resistance rating of IP67 across the A52, the A52 5G and the A72 models. This rating means that the device is water resistant at a depth of a half a meter for up to a half an hour.
But this doesn’t mean that you should take it swimming with you. Water resistance does not mean waterproof and you’ll find that if your Series A phone does get water damage – the warranty on the phone will not cover you.
If your phone is accidentally dunked in water or another liquid, don’t panic. Turn it off right, shake off any excessive water and place in a warm spot for a good few hours. Resist the urge to turn it on until you are sure it is dried out. Now try and turn it on.
