How We Fix Water Damaged iPad Air V2
Your iPad Air 2 is so light and such an extension of your life that we can almost forgive you for taking it into the pool or bathtub without thinking. Maybe one day there will be an iPad Water, but for now you’re going to want to keep your Air 2 nice and dry.
If the device has come in contact with water, follow these steps:
Step One – Stay calm as you remove your iPad from the water. Tears will only make things worse.
Step Two – If still on, power down your iPad immediately.
Step Three – Remove any casing and the sim card slot and give it a good shake to remove water.
Step Four – Place in a dry spot, preferably in the sun.
Step Five – DO NOT turn your iPad back on.
Step Six – Bring the iPad in to us immediately or call for a technician to be sent out to you.
