How We Fix Water Damaged iPad Air V1
It’s called the iPad Air, not the iPad Water. However, if your iPad finds itself dropped into the wrong element, things may not necessarily be as bleak as you fear. Let’s be clear though: water and your iPad is a very bad combination that could result in a permanently broken device. Step One – Stay calm and remove your iPad from the water.
Step Two – If still on, power down your iPad immediately.
Step Three – Remove any casing and the sim card slot and shake your iPad to remove a lot of the liquid.
Step Four – Place in a bowl of rice and leave out in the sun.
Step Five – Do not attempt to turn the iPad back on, no matter how dry it looks.
Step Six – Bring the iPad to us immediately or call for a technician to be sent out to you.
